As we approach Spring many people are considering starting or enlarging their flock. I found this video by Purina that you may find helpful.

Yesterday we had about 2 inches of light fluffy snow and our chickens wouldn’t venture out of their house until George covered all the snow in the pen with pine shavings.

Of course, now they won’t step off the pine shavings!
